DE&I Committee Advances ESG Analysis and Launches New Mentoring Initiative

During the winter period, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee worked closely with the Sustainability and Investors Committees on an in-depth analysis of ESG key performance indicators across the FTTH industry. This joint effort aimed to better understand how ESG metrics are measured and applied throughout the sector.

The insights from this work formed the basis of an ESG Survey, conducted in February among member companies and analysed ahead of the FTTH Conference 2026. The results were presented during both the DEI Committee workshop (“The value of DEI in ESG strategy, organizational resilience and investor trust”) and the ESG Panel (“ESG and Fibre investment strategies”). These discussions provided a clearer picture of current ESG financing tools and the key KPIs used by members.

The findings will be consolidated into a White Paper, to be published by the FTTH Council Europe.

Looking ahead, the Committee will launch a mentoring platform within the Member Engagement Platform, connecting members seeking guidance with experienced professionals willing to mentor within the sector.

In addition, following strong interest in the Conference workshop, the Committee will organise a webinar to broaden access to the topics discussed and ensure wider participation across the community. Details will be shared soon.
