Peter Veerman participates in:
Peter is currently managing the FttO Networks team at Delta Fiber Nederland. Before Delta Fiber Nederland Peter was the Chief Operational Officer and a member of the board of CBizz. In that role he was responsible for the development and day-to-day operational activities of the company. He also scaled up the deployment speed of 1 business area per year to ~12 business areas per year. He was directly involved with the design and development of a Big Data based strategic decision support system.
CBizz was an medium sized internet service provider specialised in delivering Busines-to-Business services over its own and third party Fiber networks throughout the Netherlands. Until Peter moved to CBizz he was the Chief Technical Officer and a member of the board of OneXS. In that role he was responsible for the development and day-to-day operational activities of the company. The company was shortly merged with a direct competitor. Peter was responsible for restructuring the operational teams of the company. He also prepared the company for scaling up by implementing structure and processes. Before joining CBizz, Peter worked for over 12 years at CAIW. In his previous roles as a Technical Product Manager and a Senior Project Manager, he was responsible for the development of the FTTH network and accompanying IPTV services.
Peter holds a MSc in Business Administration, specialising in Business Information Management, from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the Haagse Hogeschool/TH Rijswijk. His personal interests focus on linux, domotics, microcontrollers and the IoT. He enjoys spending a significant part of his spare time swimming or at the gym.
