Daniel Cury is a Senior Product Marketing Advisor for EMEA at Ciena. Daniel has over 25 years of telecommunications experience, with previous positions in systems engineering, network planning, OSS development and operations, and product marketing. Over the course of his career, Mr. Cury has worked in a number of areas in optical, Ethernet, and IP networks, spanning access, core, and submarine networks. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial (FEI) and an MBA in information technology from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA ), both in São Paulo, Brazil. He also holds a postgraduate degree in telecommunications business from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Spain.
