Open Access Committee – Advancing Shared Fibre Opportunities

Building on the priorities set during the Spring General Assembly, the Open Access Committee continues its work to strengthen understanding and adoption of Open Access models across Europe.

Efforts are now focused on broadening industry dialogue around the definition and value of true Open Access and examining practical enablers such as standards, aggregation, and interoperability. The Committee also aims to gather insights on barriers to adoption and explore ways to address them through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The Committee is starting preparations for the FTTH Conference 2026 in London, where they will be hosting a workshop.

Members are encouraged to contribute their perspectives and experiences to help shape a common vision for sustainable, inclusive fibre markets.
