Forty years after the founding of Cullen International, the organisation hosted its anniversary conference on 23 June, bringing together regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, and international stakeholders to discuss the evolution of telecoms regulation and the future of Europe’s digital landscape.
The conference explored key challenges surrounding connectivity policy, investment, digital regulation, and Europe’s broader competitiveness in an increasingly complex geopolitical environment.
Francesco Nonno, Vice-President of FTTH Council Europe, spoke during the session “Delivering Europe’s connectivity ambitions”. His intervention focused on the role of public policy and regulatory frameworks in supporting investment in fibre infrastructure as a foundation for Europe’s digital future.
The programme also included discussions on the EU’s regulatory approach, digital governance, and the future direction of telecoms policy in Europe.
Many thanks to Cullen International for organising this valuable occasion for dialogue and exchange.
